The PAHS is a non-profit, volunteer based organization dedicated to the welfare of animals in our community.  Our facility provides a healthy, loving environment for stray, neglected, and unwanted animals.  Our goal is to find the best possible home for all adoptable animals in our care.  We also offer educational programs in order to enhance the lives of animals and people in our community.

The City of Prattville and the Autauga County Commission provide approximately 50% of the daily operating expenses for the shelter.  The PAHS is responsible for the remainder of the funding needed to keep the shelter open.  You can help us make this possible through your membership and generous donations.

$50 Membership will include a t-shirt*, membership card, 10% discount on events and PAHS merchandise and newsletter. $100 Membership will include a t-shirt*, membership card, 10% discount on events and PAHS merchandise, newsletter and year-long kennel sponsorship.
